Enlightening to see how the advent of technology (…and gloves) has changed the appearance, organisation, structure and function of the emergency department. Not sure about the attempted intubation, and certainly happy to see the back of gastric lavage.

Unfortunately I remember watching this World in Action documentary the first time around! …but great for some of my younger colleagues to witness the highlights of a £38 old-style 24-hour casualty shift
